Imagine sitting by a campfire with family and friends on a beautiful starry night. Do you visualize the sparks in the fire and a marshmallow falling off your tree branch? Perhaps you envision inhaling the sweet smells of the pine trees surrounding your camp domes while sipping on some hot cocoa. And when you awaken, you hear the birds singing and the squirrels hopping from one tree to the next while your friend is cooking up a lumberjack breakfast with spicy brown sugar bacon.
Now, who wouldn't love camping with good company in the great outdoors but what do you typically wear?
Today, we would like to feature Live a Wild Life, an Etsy shop that carries "active and attractive" apparel and accessories for the outdoorsy type. Live a Wild Life shop was established in 2016 by Jenny Christensen, who truly lives a wild life style as a happy camper. Christensen offers wonderfully designed clothing that will not only have you looking great while your absorb your surroundings, but feeling completely comfortable at the same time. Below, we share more about Live a Wild Life apparel and accessories and how Christensen started this fantastic shop:
What inspired you to open your shop?
Less than a year ago, I left my job (and more than two decades in the corporate world) to do something I’d been wanting to do for years: start my own business designing and creating apparel and home accessories. The thought of working for myself sounded absolutely dreamy!
Below are some of the fantastically designed products from Live a Wild Life (click on image for product details)
What is your favorite item?
It really is hard to name a favorite—I truly love all of my designs—but there’s a special place in my heart for my “fired up” shirts. I just have to smile every time I see that design, and it instantly makes me wish I were standing around the campfire with a group of friends!
What is your biggest challenge?
I knew very little about screen printing, fabrics and inks prior to this adventure. There has been a lot of research, a ton of trial-and-error, and some comically epic messes in my home studio as I’ve forged an on-the-job education for myself! Luckily I’ve been able to take full advantage of the expertise and training materials offered by suppliers and vendors, and I have a tremendous group of friends and family to give me feedback and support.
We'd love to encourage everyone to “stay tuned” for more great stuff from Live a Wild Life! Christensen will be unveiling some really slick designs very soon. Follow Live a Wild Life shop below for the latest!
Let's talk fashion accessories with an abstract twist! Introducing Picasszos Etsy shop carrying handcrafted expressionist jewelry, made with resin and leather goods. This unique shop also features wire wrapped Swarovski crystals to hand-painted stiletto earrings. Unique wearable art for women with snazzy style.
Shop owner, Madonna Prowell from Cleveland Ohio is a hairdresser by day and artist by night. She is an artist at heart who, like many Etsypreneurs, dreams of opening a unique boutique some day. Prowell's technique in her jewelry designs is notably zestful; so much that each piece is strikes up a conversation. We can imagine an art gallery, presenting each statement piece under a directional light - a piece of art that you don't necessarily have to hang at home but something you can hang from your ears.
Below are a few Picasszos prodcuts we are glad to share on our blog today. Click on image for direct link to Etsy product page.
We asked Prowell what inspired her to open her shop, she kindly responds, "What ultimately inspired to open up shop is that,...it seems that no matter where I went, pleasant conversations were always struck up by the fun and unique pieces that I either made for myself or for others. Whether I made jewelry, painted pictures, designed a piece of furniture, it allowed me to express my creativity in a way that makes even strangers talk. That is why I often refer to my wearable art as Conversation Pieces. "
Prowell states, "It will be hard to single out one favorite item, my clients often say my Boutique is like a candy store. So I guess I would say my favorite item would be the sweet piece that brings Joy to the one who buys it."
In preparation for Spring, Picasszos will be having a 20% discount for new and existing clients this coming February. She will have lots of NEW colorful jewelry for purchase, to accent one's spring wardrobe. Stay tuned and happy shopping!

About Belle Époque Creations
What inspired you to open your shop?
I have always been a creative person. I have many artistic interests but sewing seems to bring me the most pleasure in this stage of my life. I love to travel Europe and collect buttons, lace, and fabric, antique and vintage pieces for my handbags. The two loves merged and became a shop for my creative and travel outlet. I named my shop Belle Époque Creations after the time period I love la Belle Époque. I love the romance and style of this era (1871-1914). When I first started my shop I tried to add a little Belle Époque to my bags with antique French buttons, lace, etc. As time has passed I offer different styles of bags and accessories….from past times to modern day. I am trying to meet the desires of all women.
These two beautiful handbags below are Belle Époque Couture - boho, chic style bags with fantastic fabric that takes you back in time. Perfect for a night on the town or fun festivals.
What is your favorite item?
My favorite item seems to be the item I am currently working on! Sometimes I just look at a piece of fabric and start adding embellishments from my “treasure chest”. That is what makes creating a Belle Époque Creations bag so much fun for me. It is kind of like acting or playing fancy dress! Combining textures, colors and feelings to make the perfect bag.
Below are a few more fabulous products on sale at Belle Époque Creations. You will find a variety of handbags and accessories that any one of your family members or girlfriends would love. Click on image for more information and direct link to the product page.
We are overjoyed to share Robinson's shop today – we too are fans of European products and fashion for music festivals. Handmade products from Belle Époque Creations is precisely what we love to share and hope you will find the perfect item from this special shop soon!
We have always had the pleasure of featuring unique Etsy shops and today we are excited to share another very interesting one carrying a variety of home decorations for all year around named Seasonal Boutique!
Seasonal Boutique is based in St Louis, Missouri selling darling handcrafted dioramas, wreaths, and other floral arrangements that are all one of a kind. The owners of this shop have always loved celebrating the holidays and began creating these pretty pieces after visiting a craft store to get project ideas. The craft store didn't quite have what they were hoping and gave them the motivation to run with their own designs. They soon began attending craft shows where they constantly received feedback to sell online. Once they had enough dioramas and wreaths for Halloween and Christmas, they extended their services online and continued making many more special arrangements for all seasons.
Every one of their creations is a favorite of theirs; however, they find dioramas are their best. Owner Sean Hart happily states, "We find the figures and make a story for the diorama, it's so much fun!" Below are some neat decorations you will find in their shop. One could only imagine how much detail is involved in making these items and yet, so very delightful.
Egyptian Halloween Diorama!
Take a good look at the mummy crawling in or out of it's tomb. The white LED lights make for a scary tomb scene. A hand painted skull is wrapped in gauze. Glow in the dark paint highlight the sarcophagus and mummies in this Egyptian tomb diorama.
At Etsynch, we search for the neatest Etsy and other eCommerce shop products and spread the love through social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Tumblr, Bloglovin, and StumbleUpon.
